SHIU JUI TSZ

Shiu Jui-Tsz’s work encompasses mixed media, installation, and video. By re-examining her own understanding, memory, and perception of occurrences and life experiences, she reinterprets and reconfigures objects, materials, and space—thereby weaving new narrative scenarios. Her artistic practice becomes a means of defining her boundaries and position within the systems and disciplines she inhabits. At the same time, she seeks to suture scattered and fragmented cognitions and emotions in response to the multiplicity, hybridity, and fluidity of daily life.

Shiu was selected for Taipei Art Awards, Kaohsiung Award and Hendrik de Vries Stipendium. Her works have been exhibited at Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts (2018), Kunstliefde Utrecht (2022), Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (2022) and Taipei Fine Arts Museum (2025).

許芯慈的作品主要以複合媒材、裝置及影像呈現。透過審視自身對事件與生活經驗的理解、記憶及感知，重新解讀與配置物件、材質及空間，進而編織出新的敘事劇碼。創作成為她在所處體制與規訓中，指認自我界線和狀態的一種方式，試圖縫合四散及斷裂的認知與情緒，以回應多重、混雜且流動的生活樣態。

曾獲臺北美術獎入選、高雄獎入選及荷蘭Hendrik de Vries stipendium。作品展出於關渡美術館（2018）、烏特勒支Kunstliefde（2022）、高雄市立美術館（2023）、臺北市立美術館（2025）等。
