The work is created by kneading cement in the manner of kneading dough. This repetitive gesture of kneading becomes an act of mixing materials while simultaneously serving as a preparatory process before construction and form-making. The artist uses the cyclical act of kneading cement as a metaphor for the experience of migration. Through migration, one’s memories, emotions, and perceptions are gradually folded into a new environment. As this process takes shape, migrants slowly construct a territory of their own.

作品以揉麵團的方式搓揉水泥，重複地揉捏像是將事物混合，也是在準備構築與成型前的準備動作。藝術家將搓揉水泥的循環狀態作為移居過程的隱喻。移居者將自己的記憶、情感及感知揉合進新的場域，在成型的過程中逐漸建造自己的領域。
