In the game of Snake, the snake continuously moves and consumes food within a confined space, growing larger until its body can no longer be contained. This work uses this process as a metaphor for migrants who, in a foreign land, absorb vast amounts of new culture— habits and memories are fed by new perceptions, constantly expanding and reshaping the self. The artist seeks to pause this process, allowing the snake to take a moment of rest.

In the game, the snake is pixelated into a symbolic form, much like how cross-border workers are flattened into mere commodities in the labor market. This work restores the snake to a tangible form, suggesting the re-individualization of labor, whose faces are often blurred into anonymity.
